Located near the newly commissioned Fingrid Simojoki substation in Lapland, the site will initially house 26 Sungrow PowerTitan battery arrays based on lithium ferrophosphate (LFP) cells, delivering 60 MWh of capacity. The project covers a 0.4-hectare area and will play a vital role in stabilizing Finland&#8217;s growing renewable energy grid.<\/p> <p>In 2025 FRV has signed an extension of the project with 70MW\/140MWh more.
